Gillis Museum
Glimpse into agricultural life in the past
History becomes tangible in this private micro-museum: Many, sometimes very small, household and farm objects collected over four centuries have secrets and stories to reveal. Secrets and stories which Regula Gilli knows by heart and loves to tell. In this museum, visitors can immerse themselves in a bygone era and gain an insight into the agricultural life of our ancestors. A life largely characterized by self-sufficiency. Many objects remind guests of the time of their grandparents, others, such as a wheelchair, conjure up images from the Heidi novel by Johanna Spyri. The Alpine scenes of the latest Heidi film were shot above Sufers in summer 2014.
