Tgesa rasteler museum Stierva - Rechenmacherhaus Museum, Stierva
The House of the Rake Maker in Stierva
In the small Graubünden mountain village of Stierva (Stürvis), situated above Albula, you can experience life as it was a hundred years ago firsthand. The Tgesa Rasteler Museum (Rake Maker’s House Museum), housed in an 1830s log home once owned by mountain farmer, rake maker, and folk writer Tona Candreia-Friberg, offers a glimpse into his era, with guided tours and anecdotes provided by his nephew, Hans Friberg. The collection is complemented by photographs and films that document the craft of rake making.
