Lugmilchschwinger

An old whisk, known as a Lugmilchschwinger, once used to whip cream during stays on the alp or at Maiensässe (seasonal mountain pastures with huts and stables, including a simple dwelling). It comes from the Safiental valley. It’s remarkable how many objects were crafted from local materials (in this case small pine).
