Walsertrunk

Owing to the Walser settlement of Guscha, I have long been interested in the culture of the Walser people. I was introduced to this wine at a meeting of the International Association for Walser Culture (Internationale Vereinigung für Walsertum). To me, it brings together two important cultures — that of the Walser people and the viticulture of the Bündner Herrschaft (note: informal traditional name of the northernmost part of Graubünden).
