Mussels from Boulogne-sur-Mer, Northern France

My great-great-grandfather Gion Placi Cadruvi emigrated to northern France and married in Boulogne-sur-Mer in 1885. In 1889, he returned with his wife and two children to Ruschein, where he died in 1903 at age 45. By then, the family had grown to four children. His wife, Marie-Thérèse, stayed in Ruschein. She never returned to her native France.
