Small Wooden Gebsi

This little Gebsi (a traditional wooden tub used in the Alpine region) has been with me my whole life. The folk-art motif was painted onto it by my grandmother. Even as a child, I thought there was something “magical” about this small Gebsi. It has adorned my home ever since, and to me home is where I’m at home. The Gebsi stands for craftsmanship, but also for my family’s values: creating something with your own hands, appreciating even small things, and bringing joy to one another. All of this makes it feel like home to me all the more.
