Gold Medal 2023

I brought a gold medal as a substitute for the Calanda, because gold has also been found on the Felsberger Calanda. Our shooting range faces the lower slopes of the Calanda. As a four-year-old girl, I already stood for the first time beside the summit crosses of the Felsberger and Haldensteiner Calandas. It’s a great feeling when you’ve reached your goal and are standing at the very top. When we go away, I always know when we’re coming back: as soon as I can see the Calanda, I’m home. To me, that’s what home means.
