Cross-Stitch Wall Hanging

The Graubünden cross-stitch has been part of my life since childhood, on the wall at my grandparents’ house in Fideris, in the living room of my parental home, on cushions, and in wall hangings. Back in school, we got a kick out of seeing who could find the quickest way. The Graubünden cross-stitch is distinctive in that, on the reverse side, the stitch runs horizontally, spanning only two threads.
