Tavern Sign

Signboard of the Golden Eagle Tavern in Altdorf, Thusis. Back in the day, this is where the horses pulling the carriages were changed. I bought the sign at an auction in Zurich because I used to live in that house. When I look at this treasure, I see a piece of Graubünden’s 500-year-old history.
