"Through the Bernina valleys to the famous Piz Palu." Shots of a snowy mountainous landscape from a cable car or snow lift. Village nestled in the snowy valley. Interior of a train - people are served by a waiter. Exterior - train passes close to camera. It is the Bernina - Bahn route. Various shots from the train - pretty Swiss villages, train tracks emerging from a tunnel.
A snow plough approaches a snow drift. It moves along with snow flying through the air. Various winter sports are shown - ice hockey, speed skating, horse racing in the snow, people on skis being towed behind horses, bob sleighing, sledging, ski jumping, etc.
