Description

Title reads: "The Nuffield Organisation - Thoroughbreds All". Horse racing. The Derby. Shots of the race and the crowd. In the countryside at the National Stud horses and ponies are led past the camera. The champion horse "Big Game" is led along. Other horses run in the paddock. 01:19:19 - Scientist looks through a microscope at part of a car's engine at the Nuffield Factory. Many tests on materials and design taking place. Testing contraptions. Problems of mechanical movement are analysed. A wave form pattern is analysed. Gauges, vibrator test etc. "The Colonial Test" a Morris Minor (or Morris Oxford) - is put through a test to simulate rough roads. C/U of wheels being roughly treated.
