Laubänähus St. Antönien
From the Poschtchäller to the House of Avalanches
At the same time that the association Kulturgruppe St. Antönien was founded, the Poschtchäller Museum opened in the building that used to house the post office and the Raiffeisen bank. The museum held permanent exhibitions about pottery made by the Lötscher family, cave bears, agriculture in earlier times and the village church in St. Antönien, as well as various temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
In autumn 2022, the "Poschtchäller" was converted in its entirety into today's "Laubänähus" House of Avalanches, which revisits the history of avalanches in and around St. Antönien.
