Bronze Figurine “The Three Wise Monkeys”

This small bronze figurine of the Three Wise Monkeys stood on my father’s desk in his general practitioner’s office from my earliest childhood. I often admired it while steering my remote-controlled car through the empty rooms in the evenings. Oh, what a joy it was when my father gave me the figurine to mark the completion of my studies! Since then, it has sat on my desk, reminding me every day not only of the happy days of my youth but also to take the bad in stride.
